The seven-sodium salt of this substance, DTPMP.NA7, has anti-fouling properties, especially in barium sulfate medium, and can be used as a stabilizer for peroxides of bleaches, detergents, water used in industry and municipality, etc.
In high-temperature environments (above 210) DTPMP has better anti-corrosion and anti-fouling properties than other phosphates (ATMP, HEDP).
